WHITE HOUSE MEDIA CAMPAIGN
We participated at all phases of the creation, branding and implementation of the largest health communications campaign ever funded. We developed and implemented the Integrated Communication Plan for traditional and online media (earned, paid and pro bono) for this $2 billion, five-year White House initiative. We developed the full online media strategy, including web advertising and award-winning websites. We worked closely with leading newspapers, broadcasters, media planners and buyers, advertising agencies, public officials, community interest groups, communications researchers and evaluators nationwide.
AMERICA ONLINE
America Online (AOL), later part of Time-Warner, opened the online revolution for millions of users with interactive news, entertainment, email and a host of media choices we now take for granted. MINDWEST principals worked with AOL to create health mini-sites for parents engaged in guiding their children’s choices, as well as for youth confronted by the risks of substance abuse. These mini-sites continue ‘live’ on AOL today.
ABC ~ DISNEY
No communication company in the world has a stronger reputation for entertaining and educating youth and families than Disney, now joined with ABC Television. We worked with ABC~Disney on online branding and Internet development. MINDWEST principals conceived, branded and created a national award-winning website aimed at the teen audience to guide healthy choices.
USA TODAY
As the nation’s newspaper developed by the Gannett Company, USA Today pioneered in providing news and features for a national and traveling readership. MINDWEST principals worked with USA Today to create family and youth-oriented features seen in daily editions, as well as the Sunday supplement.

As one of the world’s leading advertising and brand management companies, Ogilvy & Mather has pioneered marketing and communications strategy. MINDWEST principals worked with Ogilvy & Mather, BATES USA and other leading advertising and media planning companies engaged in full brand development, advertising planning, placement and tracking in print, broadcast, outdoor, online and other media.

PRESS & COMMUNICATIONS LEADERS
MINDWEST principals have developed press and communications initiatives with a broad range of the nation’s foremost media. We have overseen creative development, execution and evaluation. We have written news, features and OpEds visible at national and international levels including the nation’s foremost media. We have publicized commercial clients in prominent trade outlets worldwide, such as Aviation Week, JANE’S DEFENCE WEEKLY, COMPUTER WORLD, ENGINEERING TV, PBS Nightly Business Report and others.

PIONEERING E-GOVERNMENT
MINDWEST principals contributed to the White House initiative to “re-invent government” and collaborated directly with the technologists and visionaries who created the Internet. Along with research, writing and publication of reports that led to creation of the Cabinet-level National Science and Technology Council, this included pioneering creation of online publications, as well as innovation of online ‘Town Halls’ by the Vice President. These initiatives played a key role in creating E-Government in the United States.


INFORMATICS FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE
The MINDWEST founder innovated online learning for an international firm providing healthcare management education to clinicians and administrators in the U.S. and Europe. This entailed creation of the Knowledge Management Advisory Committee reporting to the corporate Board, creation of a corporate “knowledge network,” and partnership to create the pioneering “Health Online” service. Previously, we helped pioneer development and marketing of the first cable industry digital news service delivering newswire and equity news nationwide. The system was showcased at the Vancouver Worlds Fair and adapted for newsroom automation by PBS in the U.S.
MEDICAL EXECUTIVE SEARCH
MINDWEST advised in creation of integrated online marketing and branding for a national medical executive recruiting firm. We ensured application of Web 2.0 technologies for rapid posting of clinical and administrative positions; marketing the firm’s services to leading hospitals and other healthcare institutions; and generating candidates for executive placement.

IT SERVICE TO NUCLEAR INDUSTRY
MINDWEST oversaw creation, branding and online marketing for a firm providing Information Technology services to the nuclear industry. We integrated Web media with other paid and earned media, as well as marketing events.
TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION
MINDWEST prinicipals have innovated in online communications and the merger of enterprise, media and informatics strategy. We helped create one of the nation’s first digital news services; pioneered online distance learning for corporate education; and innovated use of interactive services for community engagement and social networking. This experience laid the groundwork for MINDWEST’s approach to integrated “information and influence management” across both internal and external stakeholders.
